We can still see Davis Vision patients even though we are no longer in network with Davis Vision.
How does it work?
Davis patients will pay for your exam at the time of service. We will give you a pre-formatted out-of-network data sheet to mail into Davis Vision for reimbursement. Davis Vision will then reimburse you for your exam at your contracted rate (varies, please call Davis to find your contracted rate and if you are eligible for an exam prior to making appointment).
Why are you no longer in-network with Davis Vision?
Many reasons: 1) low reimbursement rates, 2) low-quality lab which made us look bad when the glasses were late or made incorrectly, 3) our office is getting too busy to take low-quality and low-paying insurances, and 4) Davis Vision would not allow patients to coordinate billing with your medical insurance.
